Annual Memorial Day Weekend Concert to benefit ALERT
St. Thomas is a proud member of ALERT: All Lancaster Episcopal Response Team. The vision of the Rev. Pete Greenfield, ALERT brings together all the Episcopal churches of the Lancaster Convocation in shared ministry. The first shared project was a collection of buckets filled with cleaning supplies and other needed essentials following Super Storm Sandy. The ministry has grown to include Hurricane Relief efforts, refugee resettlement support, food support, care of the Betty Finney AIDS memorial garden and care for elderly and homebound persons that need help with their home and garden. St. Thomas hosts an annual Memorial Day concert every year in support of ALERT ministries. If you are interested in learning more or volunteering, please contact the parish office or the clergy.
